Dr. Chong was raised in the Dallas area, attending the University of Texas at Austin for his bachelor’s degree, and graduating from NOVA Southeastern University’s College of Optometry in 1999. In the intervening time, Dr. Chong has enjoyed meeting and treating patients in Garland and Dallas.
Outside of office hours, Dr. Chong keeps busy serving in his community as a Sunday school teacher, a member of the board of directors for a nonprofit charity group, and a volunteer for medical missions. So far, he has traveled to Cusco and Lima in Peru, as well as Yucatan, Mexico, where he enjoys bringing treatment to patients who rarely have medical access. Dr. Chong and his wife, Sarah, are the proud parents of two girls, Grace and Gina, and one boy, Peter. He also loves watching Texas football. Hook'em Horns!
Dr. Bautista completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Texas at Dallas in Molecular Biology, received a doctorate from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale Florida in May 2012 and is a board certified therapeutic optometrist and optometric glaucoma specialist.
Completed her externship in ocular disease management at Aran Eye Associates in Coral Gables Florida. Dr. Bautista enjoys working with the refractive aspect of eye care and to find the best refractive fit for patients. She is very interested in multifocal and toric (astigmatism-correcting) contact lenses. Member of the Texas Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. On her free time, jogging and cycling are very enjoyable.
